Froggy Pasta | The Best Green Toddler Pasta Recipe
Tasty green pesto that coats the pasta, rounded off with cheeky chickpeas and sneaky broccoli (that you can always leave out if thereâs too much protest).
At WMBT HQ, this toddler pasta recipe is a winner with young and old.
We try mixing thighs up with different types of pasta to introduce even more complex flavours. Whole meal spelt pasta works a treat, but in this instance weâve used quinoa, kale, beetroot and rice pasta to slot in even more hidden veg.
Think Froggy Pasta needs an animal companion?
Dish everything up in your favourite bear, cat or bunnie snackie so dinner becomes a gathering of your tiny humanâs favourite creatures.
And once youâre high-fiving your other half because your munchkin just consumed a fair chunk of their daily veg intake in one sitting, pop the Snackie in your dishwasher to finish things off. Because just like all other We Might Be Tiny silicone products, Snackies are freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher-safe. #winning

- 100 g (½ cup) chickpeas, cooked
Method
Quickly toast the sunflower seeds in a skillet and let cool.
Place all remaining pesto ingredients into a high-speed food processor and mix until well combined.
Cook the pasta until al dente and then combine by hand with pesto, broccoli, and chickpeas.
Serve warm. Also great for a next day lunchbox.
Notes
*Replace with 20 g (½ cup) parmesan.
**Gluten-free pasta is often made with legumes so this is a great option to make a complete protein meal. Whole meal spelt pasta is also a great combo.
