This healthy chocolate hazelnut ice cream recipe loves to be turned into ice pops or popsicles but isn’t opposed to popping up in a bowl either. You make it yours!
What you need to make this frozen treat a smashing success is your high-speed food processor, a whole bunch of healthy ingredients and your keen tiny helpers. But they’re totally optional!
5 minutes and a quick blitz session later, you’re looking at the smooth goodness of hazelnuts, banana, cacao and vanilla. And it’s screaming to take centre stage at your next dinner party, kids birthday gathering or friends’ BBQ.

Makes 6 | Prep 5 minutes
- 25 g (¼ cup) hazelnuts, roasted
- 375 ml (1 ½ cup) milk of choice
- 1small ripe banana
- 1 tbsp raw cacao
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Place all ingredients into a high-speed food processor and blitz until smooth.
Pour into Tubies and freeze for at least four hours.
