We are big fans of Smoothie Bowls in general so couldn’t wait to put a Christmas spin on our favourite. What we’ve come up with is a Christmas Smoothie Bowl that your kids will love decorating themselves in the lead up to the big day.
All you have to do is set yourself up with a high-powered food processor that can turn all the nutritious goodness into the base for a daily Christmas masterpiece. Whip it up fresh and get your tiny humans to add their favourite toppings. Makes 2 snackie bowls
Prep 5 minutes
- 250 ml (1 cup) almond milk
- 200 g (1 ½ cups) overripe banana, frozen equates to three small bananas
- 150 g (1 ½ cups) raspberries
- half an avocado (approximately 200g)
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- banana slices
- watermelon stars
- desiccated coconut
- buckwheat kernels
- pumpkin seeds
- chocolate drops
- goji berries
Place all smoothie bowl ingredients into a high-speed food processor and blitz until smooth.
Pour into a We Might Be Tiny Snackie then decorate with toppings, laying slices of banana in a tree shape and sprinkling on remaining ingredients for extra sparkle.
