Healthy homemade icy pole recipes

We LOVE our new Frosties and the fantastic thing about them is that they can be used to make a huge range of different icy pops.

We’re sharing just a few recipes today but the possibilities really are endless. Here are just a few examples of what people have made using our wonderful Icy Pop Moulds.

Creamy Mango Frosties

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 400g tinned mango or 2 fresh mangoes peeled and de-seeded
  • 250 ml thickened cream

  • Use a stick mixer or blender to puree all ingredients together.
  • Pour into icy pole moulds, add stick and freeze.

Berry, Coconut & Mint Icypoles

  • 330ml coconut water
  • 2 cups frozen or fresh mixed berries
  • 1/4 cup of packed mint leaves
  • juice of 1 large lemon
  • ½ teaspoon stevia

  • Use a stick mixer or blender to puree all ingredients together.
  • Pour into ice pop moulds, add stick and freeze.

Ice Coffee Icy Pops for Mum!

Perfect for summer! Enjoy your coffee in a sweet icypole, while the kids have their treat too!

Adjust the ingredients to match how you like your coffee, just add a little more sugar than normal. But make sure everything is cold – this will stop any ice crystals forming when you freeze it.

  • 1 cup coffee (instant or ground, however you like it)
  • 1-4 tablespoons of granulated sugar (if you take sugar!)
  • ¼ - ½ cup of cold milk (whichever type of milk you like, substitute for more coffee if you normally have it black)

  1. Make your coffee as you normally take it, but add a little more sugar than you would normally. Allow to cool.
  2. Stir together the coffee, and milk. Taste and adjust to how you like it.
  3. Pour into your Frostie mould and pop in a stick.
  4. Freeze until firm – may take at least overnight.

Don’t forget, you don’t even need to stick to icypole-style treats! Use your moulds to make custom chocolates, or use them to make gorgeous bath bombs.

The possibilities truly are endless!
