Delicious & nutritious banana bread recipe

Take this delicious banana loaf that our wonderful customer Nikki created using our Cat Snackie!
Craving a delicious and nutritious snack? Us too! We’ve adapted this tried and true banana bread recipe to work with our range of Snackies!
- Melted low-fat butter (or equivalent) to grease
- 3/4 cup self-raising flour
- 1/8 cup plain flour
- a pinch of ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup, firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 overripe medium banana, mashed
- 1 eggs, lightly whisked
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 25g butter, melted, cooled
Step one: Preheat oven to 180°C and brush Snackie with melted butter to lightly grease.
Step two: Sift the flours and cinnamon into a large bowl. Add the sugar and make a well in the centre.
Step three: Next, mash the banana, then add the eggs, milk, and remaining melted butter, and stir until well combined.
Step four: Add the banana mixture to the flour and stir until combined, then spoon the mix into the Snackie.
Step five: Bake in preheated oven until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Remove from oven and set aside to cool, then enjoy!
