Puff Pastry Pesto Pizza Scrolls
by Mona Fe on Oct 28, 2022
Kids love pizza. That’s a fact.
Is it healthy? Not so much. Is it exciting to serve at parties? Not always.
So we challenged ourselves at the WMBT HQ to come up with a healthier, more creative alternative to this former favourite.
Of course, part of this party staple’s appeal is how easy it is to have delivered.
We took that into consideration and came up with our no-brainer Pesto Pizza Scrolls Recipe.
I kid you not, this crunchy, freezer-friendly (yes, mums!) take on the regular ol’ pizza is so mind-blowingly fast, easy and delicious, that it’s now a permanent addition to parties, picnics, and lunch boxes in our household.
And guess what mums, if you like this recipe, you will enjoy the other nine included in WMBT’s soon-to-be-released booklet, ‘Party Foods’. There you’ll find various nutrilicious recipes that are a treat for the eyes and the tiny tummies. Rocking party preps has never been this easy peasy! So be sure to check that one out, too.
Prepping for a party takes a ton of work already. So when it comes to the spread, it’s nice to have a recipe that takes very little time and almost none of the effort. We’ve definitely found both with this one! And we guarantee that your guests will line up for seconds - picky eaters included.
As promised, this recipe is ridiculously easy and incredibly fun to make, your kids will be excited to get in on making them.
Let your little ones take turns spreading the sauces and sprinkling the cheese. Simply gather all the ingredients beforehand and be sure to supervise, should you let tiny hands help in cutting your scrolls.
Pesto Pizza Scrolls will look stunning spread out on your party table, especially when served in WMBT Snackies.
Not only do these silicone storage containers function as a great snack box for picnics and school lunches, but they also bring an elevated level of festivity to any party table when used as a serving dish, sans lid.
Worried about the mess? This non-stick, non-slip, super durable, and shatter-proof Snackie is also a breeze to clean. Just pop in the dishwasher to do the dirty work!

This Party-Ready Pesto Pizza Scroll recipe uses only a few ingredients, and yet it churns out up to 30 servings - more than enough to feed a swarm of hungry kids!
Even better? It’s literally throw and go! You can easily turn to this recipe for last-minute snacks and bite-sized takeaways for extra busy days without compromising on nutritional value.
No special equipment necessary to make your own puff pastry – just buy the ready-rolled sheets and make your life 10x easier!
This recipe is perfect to make with your kids because it encourages their inner chefs to shine at snack time while cleverly tricking them to eat well.
Our hero ingredient is protein-packed pesto. It’s tasty and nutritious because it’s made with olive oil, nuts, and cheese. Classic pesto can pump tiny tummies with a fair amount of unsaturated fat, calories, and antioxidants.
